TAYLOR, Carol Taylor  -  It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Taylor, nee Reilly.

Suddenly, and surrounded by her family at Ross Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 2, at the young age of 71.

Mom to Lori (Jamie), Tammi-Jo and Jennifer (Mike).

Nanny to Ashtin, Jorja and Jacklyn, Quintin and Josie, and Cassidy, Madison, Lincoln and Coltin Gigi to Tobias and Myla Rae. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Muriel Reilly and brother Cliff.

Carol will be missed by her family, her extended family, her car family, and so many friends from coast to coast. Her family was her life.

She lived her entire life in the small town of Cannington with her beloved husband Joe of 52 years, always by her side. Together, they were instrumental in the foundation of the car community as we know it today.

Carol left a little sparkle everywhere she went and everyone she met loved her immediately.

She was a kind old soul with a very big heart. She lived with an open-door policy. Carol was always happy to put on a meal for anyone, whether it was in her home or in the infamous home on wheels; their custom-built fire truck that brought thousands of smiles for miles.

A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 186, 72 Peace Street, Cannington.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
