Peacefully passed away in her sleep on October 3, 2023, at the age of 59.
Loving mother of Audrey (Emily), Courtney (Kerry), and Derek (Joyce).
Devoted grandmother of Shea, Tyler, Arianna, Keira, Ellie, Kaylub, Corinthia, Grace, and Jesse.
Sylvie will be sadly missed by her partner Steve Antal.
Dear daughter of Gilles(France) and Irene (Frank) and sister of Peter, Eric, Alain, Guy, and France.
Sylvie loved singing and dancing to all types of music.
She was very artistic, loved to laugh, and had a big heart. Sylvie was known as the "neighborhood Mom" who never turned her back on a kid in need often opening her home and her heart to those who needed it.
Amongst a bed of roses, Sylvie was a wildflower who always stood up for what she believed in.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 12pm – 1pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME
(124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1pm.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association.
