WILSON, Jerome (Jed) Thorne -

JULY 15, 1931 – NOVEMBER 13, 2023

 

Died at home on November 13, 2023 after a brief illness.

 

Jed is survived by his loving wife Sally Wilson and daughter Carolyn Wilson.

By stepsons Josh (Kellie), Todd (Lee) and Chris (Joanne) Jewell and by their children Dalton, Spencer, Samantha, Melissa, Trystan, Cody, Justin and Jesse Jewell.

 

He will be dearly missed by nieces and nephews; Tim, Greg, Kathy, Conel and Cindy O’Regan, Matt and Peter Butler, Jim, Ellie, Sandy and Caryn Wilson.

 

Will be fondly remembered by Jason Fiorotto. Jed was predeceased by his parents Ruby Pauline Middleton and Russell Thorne Wilson, his son John Robert Wilson, siblings Donald (Bud) Wilson, Gwen O’Regan, Richard Wilson and Linda Butler and niece Tory Butler.

 

He apprenticed at the Ontario Malleable Iron Company as a patternmaker and was the owner of Lofthouse Pattern Company for many years. Always an avid athlete and outdoorsman.

 

Jed was known for his good humour, gentle manner and kindness.
