CRAWFORD, Scott Anthony Crawford - It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Scott Anthony Crawford on Thursday, February 8th, 2024.
Scott was born on March 29th, 1960 in Scarborough, Ontario to William and Sita Crawford(deceased).
Scott is survived by his long time partner Tiffany Price, children Ashley Kelly (Sean 1986-2023), Christopher Crawford, step children Ann Price, Josh Price, and William Croke.
Predeceased by daughter Melody Crawford(1981-2001). Papa to Drake Crawford, Sawyer Kelly, Aria Kelly, Kai Kelly, and Cadence Crawford. Younger brother to Sandy Isles(Paul), Gloria Taylor(Stephen), and older brother to Andrew Crawford.
Scott dedicated much of his life to his community. He represented Ward 2 of Ajax for 22 years as Local Councillor from 1988-1997 and Regional Councillor from 1997-2010. A tree was planted at Rotary Park in 2019 for recognition of Scott's many years of service for the town.
Scott left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He became lovingly known by all as Papa Bear. Always there to help anyone he could including the many teenagers his kids brought in to his life over the years.
He truly was The Dad of Ajax. He will be so missed but his legacy will always remain. Rest well Papa Bear.
