CRAIG, Harriet “Dawn” - Our beloved Dawn Craig, wife, mother, nanny, and friend suddenly passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 74.
She was surrounded by her family and friends.
Family was her whole life and she loved each of them completely.
She was the best wife, mother, nanny, sister, and friend God ever blessed us with. She was also a well-loved member of Westminster United Church.
Dawn was born to Raymond and Harriett Vertigans on December 14, 1949 in Belfast Northern Ireland. She was the youngest of seven children.
Dawn was happily married to Edward Craig who was her partner in life for almost 56 years at the time of her death. Dawn is survived by her husband, three children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly and always be loved “lots and lots and then some”.
Visitation will be held at Westminster United Church at 1850 Rossland Rd E., Whitby ON, on Friday February 23rd from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. Reception following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Westminster United Church in loving memory of Dawn Craig.
