      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

As well, OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL and DIGNITY MEMORIAL will make a donation to support Minor Hockey for every stick collected.

Bronishewski TomBRONISHEWSKI, Tom  - August 13, 1964 - February 9, 2018

Unexpectedly yet peacefully, with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, February 9th, 2018 at 53 years of age.

Beloved husband and best friend of Tracie (nee Galt).

Loving father of Ryan his wife Kate and Emily and her husband Grant Kusler.

Tom was looking forward to the birth of his 1st grandchild in July.

Dear son of Lorraine and the late Stan Bronishewski. He will be sadly missed by his brother Craig and his wife Sue and his sister Theresa. Tom will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by his four legged fishing buddy Maggie.

A special thank you to Dr. Chang, Dr. Soliman, the trauma staff, and the I.C.U. nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and the critical care paramedics for their dedicated care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, February 15th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16th at 11:00 a.m. at ST. HEDWIGS CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Olive Ave., Oshawa).  

Memorial donations to Multiple Sclerosis or Lakeridge Health Foundation – Critical Care would be appreciated.
