DAVIS, Jeannette Cecile - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on March 20, 2017 in her 83rd year.
She now holds hands in heaven with the love of her life, her husband Richard “Dick” Davis.
Jeannette came into this world to parents John Baptiste Gagnon and Dorothy Etta Salt.
Her playground as a child was the Georgian Bay, its beautiful shores around Parry Sound and the little village of Depot Harbor on Parry Island. She and her big brother Johnny cruised the shorelines in their beloved “Putt-Putt”.

The Sylvia Canning story begins on April 19, 1921 in London, England. She was born to parents Herbert “Bertie” and Alice Mabel Ainger. Bertie was a butler who served 8 British prime ministers, including Winston Churchill, making him privy to top secret war time talk.
