LANE, Alwyn Percy - Peacefully passed at Trillium Health Centre on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 with his family at his side.
Alwyn is predeceased by his beloved wife Lillian “Joyce”.
Loving father to Merven (Alison) and Jamie (Cathy).
Loving Grampie to Merv Jr., Michelle, Jeff, Caleb, Ian and Ryan.
Alwyn is survived by his sisters-in-law Avis and Lydia.
He is predeceased by his parents Caleb and Clara, and his brothers Reggie and Bill.
A proud Newfoundlander and ironworker, “Al” will be remembered for his generosity, his wisdom and his love of family – and a good story.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, Toronto on Sunday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Mississauga.
