SIMAS, Jimmy - Passed away October 11, 2018 at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto, with his loving sister Rita by his side.
Jimmy had fought two battles with cancer in the past, and had won, however this time proved too much for his spirit.
Predeceased by his parents Victor (2005) and Aldina Simas (1986).
Jimmy loved living in his neighbourhood, and was always lending a helping hand.
Jimmy was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan who loved to watch the games with his friends.
He was always the warm, caring friend and he will be deeply missed by all of his friends and neighbours.
He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved sister Rita and his four legged companions Charlie and Maggie.
Friends may call on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 588 Adelaide Street West. Interment to follow in Thornhill.
Memorial donations may be made in Jimmy's name to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
