Milllar LorneMILLAR, Lorne Percy  -  August 16, 1918 - 100 years old Went peacefully home to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Lorne was predeceased by his wife Betty.

He is survived by three children: Nancy Gee (David), Ruth Hanna and Tom Millar (Cora).

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Stephen (Kate), Christopher (Kristina), Kristine (Shawn), James, Stephanie (Ross), John, Jenny, Katie (Trevor); and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lorne joined the Canadian Navy in 1941 as an officer and served on the HMCS Prince Henry, Dawson, Prince Rupert and La Malbaie.

He was a member of the boards of the Ontario Bible College & Seminary, Shantymen's Christian Association International and the Yonge Street Mission and was an employee of Reed Stenhouse for 38 years.

A Celebration of Lorne's Life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Guelph, on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 1 p.m. Private family interment has taken place.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the Tyndale University College and Seminary or the Yonge Street Mission.
