GODOVITZ, Vera Irene (nee SWATUK) - (March 2, 1922 – November 11, 2018)
Passed away peacefully in her 96th year, with family at her side at Chester Village Long Term Care Facility.
Beloved wife of the late Teddy Godovitz for 72 happy and treasured years.
Cherished mother of Teddy (Sandy), Gary, Greg (Cheryl), Susan (Brian Sapier) and Leslie (Clay Duncan).
Loving grandmother (Nannie) of ten grandchildren, Stephen, Kimberley, Tracy, Lucas, Jared, Jesse, Nile, Jazzmin, Chelsea, Spencer and great-grandmother (GG) of twelve great-grandchildren, Madison, Colton, Logan, Sophie, Ryan, Ayla, Raya, Vera, Nina, Carter, Mackenzi and Tyenna.
Dear sister of Bernice and Raymond and the late Jimmy, Billy, Ronnie, Russell, Frances, Olga, Eileen and Margie.
Vera will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by relatives and friends fortunate enough to have known her and had her as a part of their lives.
Special thanks to the caregivers at Chester Village for their outstanding service, care and support during the past seven years.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
