WILSON, Anna Frances (nee RUNNINGS) - At home Saturday, January 26, 2019 in her 81st year.
Fran spent her early years in Chesley.
Parents Joseph Byron, Clare Runnings and Anna Marie Runnings (Hall). Moving to Toronto at age 8 she received her education at Allenby Public School, North Toronto Collegiate and University of Toronto Faculty of Nursing.
After some years with the Victorian Order of Nurses and City of Toronto Public Health department, she returned to school to obtain her teaching degree, teaching in elementary schools in Toronto and York county.
She was the proud mother of Laura Maureen Bartlett, beloved wife of the late Thomas Colquhoun Wilson and loving Grandma to Jace and Austen Wells.
She returned to Public Health nursing in the city of North York serving as nurse manager until retirement in 1997.
She and Tom enjoyed retirement on the shores of Georgian Bay developing many gardens, sharing their love of horticulture and attending auctions.
As she wished, no funeral services will be held.
