Ralkos PeterRALKOS, Peter - After a ferociously brave battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, our beloved husband, father and Dedo, Peter passed away at home the morning of November 2, 2020 surrounded by his wife and daughters.

He leaves behind his doting wife of 42 years Dunava, their daughters Christine (Ashford Ramjass) Ralkos and Michelle (Eddie) Aguiar, his sons Tom Ralkos and Geroge Ralkos.

He was a loving Dedo to 8 grandchildren who he always spoiled and loved to spend time with and 2 great-grandchildren.

He also loved and was loved dearly by his many cousins and dear friends.

He will now get to see his father again after 55 years and will be reunited with his mother who he cared for his entire life until her passing.

Born in Alona, Florina, Greece on May 17, 1954, Peter immigrated to Canada when he was 5 years old with his parents Christina (née Kiatipis) and Thomas Ralkos. He persevered through many difficulties in his life, starting as a young boy losing his father to a car accident at just 10 years old.

At this time, he was compelled to contribute to the household and take on the role of the man of the house. He always took care of his mother, even retiring early from his long-time career with the TTC to be her caregiver for nearly 10 years.

He married his beloved wife Dunava (née Sipinkarovska) and they proudly built their life together in Toronto.

We are heartbroken that he is no longer with us and feel a great void in our family but know that he has given us the strength to be ok and that he will continue to take care of us and watch over us from Heaven.

Special thanks to the medical caregivers who supported Peter and his family throughout his illness, especially Dr. Paul Lau, Dr. Sayaf Gazala, Dr Jefferey Newmann, Farooq & Maureen, Dean Walters, Charmaine.

We love and miss you immensely, dad and thank you for all of the ways you have touched our lives.

Arrangements with Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto. The service will take place at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Cathedral, 76 Overlea Blvd. Toronto on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM
