De Laurentis MariaDE LAURENTIS, Maria Grazia (Apostoli) - September 12, 1925 - December 24, 2020 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Graziella, in her 95th year.

She was a loving mother to her son Vince (Janet) and daughter Adele (Lorenzo).

She will be embraced by her Savior and her loving husband Giuseppe, her parents, Concetta and Pasquale, her brothers, Antonio (Carina) and Giuseppe and her little sister Elisabetta (Guido).

She is survived by her adoring sister Maria (Nicola) and her dear sister- in- law Flora.

She was an amazing grandmother to Gerry, Eddie, Christopher, Michael, Jeffrey and Nicholas. She was blessed with many great grandchildren, Elena, Lorenzo, Natasha, Matteo, Nolan, Mason, Naomi, Amelia, River, Ryder, Rohan, Zoe and Riley. She will also be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Mom left her little hilltop town of Miano, Teramo Italy with her children, Adele and Vince and arrived in Canada November 6, 1956. How brave and strong and yes, probably scared, she must have been to leave the security of her family to join her husband in a strange new land. She was very proud to work as a seamstress in a coat factory in the rag district and felt so fortunate to have been given an opportunity to make a home in this great country, Canada.

Mom you have inherited the most beautiful garden of all........Garden of Paradise. Rest in Peace.

The family would like to thank all the amazing caregivers , nurses, Dr. Wise and all the staff at Amica Swan Lake. You were all “Bella “ to Mom.

Arrangements with Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Unionville Home Society.....to enhance the life of our seniors.
