SASSE, Egon - We are saddened to announce the passing of Egon Sasse.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend of 65 years, Violet.
Egon was a loving brother to Wolfgang and a caring uncle to Diana (Steve), Larry (Isobel) and Michelle.
Born in Berlin in 1929, Egon immigrated with his brother to Canada in 1953.
He was a gentle man with a quiet laugh and a large heart.
Egon enjoyed a lifelong passion for RC aircraft and travel.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Michael Garron Hospital for their care of Egon during his stay with them.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration of Egon's life will take place at a later date.
