SCARDAONI, Eli   1931 - 2021  Retired Toronto District Fire Chief of 36 years, Inventor and Entrepreneur, passed away with his family by his side on January 5, 2021, in Collingwood, Ontario.

Favourite husband to Joyce Scardaoni (nee Robertson) of 66 years, favourite Pop to son, Melville Scardaoni (Tammy Johnson), favourite Dad to daughter, Nancy Scardaoni Leliveld (Andy Leliveld) and favourite Poppo to grandson, Koen Leliveld and fratello to Angelo Scardoni (Pat Scardoni).

Eli, also known to many as "the man who could fix anything", was a self-taught Engineer who NEVER stopped inventing, building, creating or repairing.

Throwing anything away was a crime because it always had a future use for another purpose.

Seeing his prized invention from the 70s come to fruition in HIS 80s was the culmination of his business partnership (Technicraft Product Design) and the success of the Fire Sprinkler Head Shut Off Tool (SHUTGUN) selling worldwide.

The man who could fix anything won't be able to repair our broken hearts but his memories will help heal us all.

HUGE heartfelt thanks to the incredible support received by Dr. Alyssa Boyd, Dr. Sara Rask and the Nursing Team at Saint Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eli, to either Hospice Georgian Triangle or Collingwood General and Marine Hospital would be appreciated.
