Boadway Anne LiiBOADWAY, Anne-Lii (nee VANASELJA)  - 1944 – 2021  I was lucky to have my mom.

She was extraordinary and taught me everything… well almost everything I know.

She was a constant source of support, guidance, advice (wanted or not) and naturally unconditional love to all of us.

She raised me to be polite, compassionate, confident and to have faith in myself, for which I am eternally grateful.

First and foremost, family was everything to her.

She loved a good family gathering with tasty food, wine, stirring conversation and laughter.

Preparing for dinners was a great source of joy, especially Christmas Eve – those were special. Mom loved to cook and bake.

It wasn't uncommon for her to pop by family and friends houses with some home baked treats (Kringle anyone!). Mom had a great smile, a big laugh, a wonderful sense of humour and wore her heart on her sleeve.

She had a passion for travelling and got to see many places.

She loved to drive her car or sail with my dad. She was proud of her Estonian heritage.

She was the quintessential grandma who loved to dote on and spoil her adored grandchildren. She was grateful for her son-in-law.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by me - her daughter, Kristina (Scott); grandchildren, Mason, Abbey and Alex; siblings, Tiiu (Larry) and Siim (Mary); nephews, Christopher, Michael (Magda) and Jack; many dear family and friends; the Paar Family and the MacDougall Clan. She was preceded by her husband of many years, Ken Boadway.

Donations may be made to Community Care of St. Catherine's.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Be at peace and we will be too… we love you!.
