Boyko JamesBOYKO, James Anthony, BCom., CPA CA, CFP   - October 4, 1943 - January 26, 2021

Loving husband for 53 years to Marti, proud tat to Mark (Laura) and Tom (Nevena), caring dido to Holland, Ella, Tasha, Aleksandra and Stefan, dear brother to Shirley (John), and uncle to Allison (Nick), Angela (Jonah) and Danielle.

Jim passed away peacefully after a short battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (complications due to pneumonia). Son of Tony and Anne Boyko, Jim grew up in Windsor, Ontario.

He attended the University of Windsor where he received his bachelor's degree of Commerce in 1967.

Shortly after his graduation he began his life with Marti, marrying on November 4, 1967.

Jim became a Chartered Accountant in 1970. He started his career at Clarkson Gordon in Windsor (now Ernst and Young).

After moving to Toronto, he made partner and remained with the firm until 1995 when he partnered with Laird Elliott and eventually transitioned to his own practice. Jim was active in his community, where many organizations benefitted from his involvement and leadership.

After a wonderful 25th Wedding Anniversary trip with their sons, Jim and Marti caught the travel bug, exploring many exciting destinations over the years. His family will miss him dearly.

A private graveside service and interment will take place. A larger celebration of Jim's life will be announced once it is safe to gather again.

We would like to acknowledge the incredible warmth and kind support from caring friends and family.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Rotary Club of North Scarborough, www.northscarboroughrotary.org or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, www.llscanada.org would be appreciated.
