McCormick DavidMcCORMICK, David   -  Peacefully at home in Cambridge, ON with his loving wife, Kim, beside him, Dave passed away on February 3, 2021 from complications of lung cancer in his 69th year.

Dave was born in Scarborough, ON and is reunited with father George, mother Elsie and younger sister Ann.

He is survived by his loving family: children Eric, Jonathan, Jennifer, Andrew, Hayley, grandchildren Lachlan, Aaliyah and his brother John.

Dave, loved by friends and family alike, had a kind, generous spirit and deeply enjoyed making others laugh.

A tireless advocate for justice, both in his personal and professional life, Dave was a retiree of Unifor Local 414 where he had spent his career championing the rights of workers.

As was his wish, Dave's remains have been donated to the University of Western Ontario's School of Medicine.

There will be no service at this time.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Dave's name can be made to the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank or the Canadian Injured Workers Alliance.
