Romano CarmenROMANO, Carmen CleotildeCarmen Cleotilde Romano was born on April 2, 1945 in Tucuman, Argentina and passed away on February 6, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 75 years.

She is the loving Mother of Javier Olivera (Nery Cartagena), Diego Olivera (Mirian Martinez Acevedo) and Jenny Olivera (Nando Anania). Cherished Abuelitta (grandmother) of Lillian, Marcelo, Kasandra, Gabriel, Christian, Alisia and Alejandro.

Carmen will be deeply missed by her siblings Maria, Berta, Jesus, Juan, and Luisa.

If there was ever an angel with us ... that angel would have been Carmen in every way. Everyone who knew her knows well that being with her, one felt an inexplicable energy that embraced and made you feel very special. Her funny character, sense of humour and laughter was so contagious and unforgettable.

She had that ability to break barriers with just one glance that was accompanied by her unique smile. It was so easy to be pulled into her world and she was known to give the best life advice. We know well that Carmen had the gift to always leave a memorable tattoo imprinted on your heart.

It was an absolute privilege to share her sweetness with many. She will be deeply missed, loved and forever remembered by all of her friends and family in Canada and Argentina.

The Romano-Olivera family greatly appreciates your gestures of sympathy and words of condolences at this very difficult time. Due to the current global pandemic restrictions, the visitation and the funeral service will remain private for immediate family members only.

The Funeral Service and Entombment Service will be livestreamed on Sunday, February 14th at 5pm from the website of Jerrett funeral home, St. Clair chapel, Toronto. The Livestream details will be posted once available under the Livestream Service Link.

If desired, donations in Memory of Carmen Cleotilde Romano may be made to CanadaHelps COVID-19 Healthcare and Hospital Fund.
