MacDonnell Jo AnnMACDONNELL, Jo Ann Huidekoper   - March 10, 1947 – February 8, 2021

Passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, after a short battle with cancer.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband Dick, daughter Jen, brother-in-law Phil MacDonnell, nieces Sam Sharp (Brian), Sally Paradine (Simon) and Susie Calder (Andrew, deceased).

She was an amazing great-aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and wonderful friend.

Jo Ann loved spending time with family, friends, playing bridge and spending summers at Stony Lake near Peterborough.

Very special thanks to the doctors, nurses, paramedics and the entire medical team of Sunnybrook Hospital, Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care and Bridgepoint Active Healthcare for the care and compassion shown to Jo Ann during her time in their care.

As a celebration of her life, we would ask everyone to please raise a glass to toast Jo Ann on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
