Ashton LetitiaASHTON, Letitia (nee McBEIGH)   - April 30, 1925 - February 6, 2021

We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Letitia Ashton, in her home, in her 96th year.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Predeceased by childhood sweetheart and devoted husband Brian, and son Kenneth.

Survived by her son Brian (Linda), and her granddaughter Lauren, of whom she was so proud.

Born in Burnaby, BC, the youngest of six siblings: William, Thomas, Anna (Ward), Margie (Matthews), and Mary (Craig).

Letty's father Thomas McBeigh, born in Belfast, and mother Margaret (nee Jenkins) from the Isle of Man.

Letty first met Brian when he pulled her ponytail at a local theatre on the Danforth.

After waiting five years for his return from the Second World War, they married.

The rest was a life of love and devotion to her husband and family.

"Until we meet again, May God hold you In the palm of his hand."
