LIGATO, Vincenzo - It is with great sadness that the family of Vincenzo Ligato announces his passing.
After a lengthy and courageous battle with his declining health, Vincenzo passed away peacefully on March 21, 2021.
Loyal and devoted to his wife Bruna. Loving, supportive father to Bruno (Paula), Natalie, Domenico (Maria).
Overjoyed Nonno to JohnLuke, James, Thomas, Bruna, and Antonio.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy and his unconditional love for them will be cherished and felt till past time.
Vincenzo enjoyed visiting paesani and friends, having his glass of wine and his afternoon coffee. He made the best salami, enjoyed making his wine and homemade grappa. He will be sincerely missed and his spirit lives on through the hearts of many people he touched. Vincenzo was very devoted to Padre Pio.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Toronto on Friday, March 26, 2021. A PRIVATE funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27, 2021. PRIVATE entombment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
