Pimentel ElizabethPIMENTEL, Olivia (de Sousa) - On Wednesday March 24, 2021 at the age of 81.

Devoted wife of 61 years to Manuel and loving mother of John (Mirella), Lucy (Joe) and Diane (Giuseppe).

Adoring Vavó of Andrew (Melanie), Amanda (Zachary), Eric (Denise), Jessica (Anthony), Melinda, Cristian and Isabella, and Bisavó of Noah, Nino and Arthur.

She was a special matriarch of her family and will be forever loved and remembered by all.

Olivia was born to Amelia de Medeiros Sampaio and José de Sousa Gabriel in Lomba da Maia, Açores. She was an esteemed sister, sister-in-law and aunt to a family that she treasured dearly.

Oliva leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, togetherness and friendship. She was a woman of tremendous strength and faith. Nothing made her happier than to be surrounded by her family. All who knew her will remember that she always made time to share a meal, a helping hand, a conversation, a lesson, a laugh, or a tear with you. She had an amazing ability to make those around her feel loved and special.

We will all miss our beloved Olivia dearly and will live out her legacy until we see her again.

A memorial service for family will take place on Sunday March 28 and a funeral service will take place on Monday March 29th at Our Lady of Fatima Parish.

Memorial donations in memory of Olivia may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke foundation.
