BREEN, Jim - (1935 - 2021) - Peacefully passed away at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Beloved husband of Erla (nee Kester). Loving dad of Christine (David) MacKay, Colleen (Scott) MacDonald and Tom (Shelly) Breen. Proud grandpa of Lance and Jamie MacKay; Kyla and Ryland Breen.

Survived by brother Julius and predeceased by sister Blanche and brothers John and Jerry.

86 years, a life well lived and to the fullest. Born on the kitchen table of the family home in Schomberg in the Spring of 1935. Raised a farmer, retired from a storied career as a school teacher. Avid outdoorsman, coach, mentor and friend to all he met.

Special gratitude to the exceptional staff at Cedarvale Lodge for the ongoing care and support.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Skwarchuk funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
