Doting Yiayia to Melissa, Samantha and Emily who were the centre of her life from the moment of their birth.

She was predeceased by her loving parents Gregory and Eleftheria Karamitanis and is survived by her siblings Fila (the late Mike) Pappas, Helen (the late Tony) Christou, Diana (John) Tsatsos, Jim (Peggy) Karas and Steve (Elsie) Karr.

She lived her life with love, generosity, conviction and laughter. Her devotion to her husband, three sons and large extended family was second to none.

Magdalini was born in Armenochori, Florina, Greece, the fourth daughter of a family of six siblings. She came to Canada in June 1961 and was just two months short of celebrating the 60th anniversary of her arrival in Toronto.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by generations of family and lifelong friends in Canada, Greece and Australia.
