REA, Maria - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the age of 95 at Kipling Acres Long-Term Care Home (Etobicoke).
Maria was born on October 8, 1925 in Arpino, Frosinone, Italy.
She is predeceased by her husband, Natale Rea, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her son Gidio, her son Tony (Kathy) and grandsons, Nick and Anthony.
Maria will be missed by several nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, the United States, Italy, France, and Australia.
Special thanks to Dr. Andrea Caruso her family physician for several years. With gratitude the family acknowledges the caring support given to Maria by the doctors and nursing staff at William Osler Health System, (Etobicoke) and Kipling Acres Long-Term Care Home.
Funeral arrangements with Bernardo Funeral Homes, Etobicoke. Visitation hours are Sunday, May 2, 2021. Catholic funeral mass at Saint Roch’s Catholic Church, 2889 Islington Avenue, North York, ON, M9L 2T3, on Monday, May 3, 2021; entombment at North York.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
