It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peggy) McCarron (nee Haslam) on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the age of 98.

Peggy was the loving and devoted wife of her husband Tom for 52 years and the beloved mother of Pamela (Kevin).

She will be forever loved by her cherished grandchildren Megan (Scott), Matt (Tamara) Elliot, Erin (Steve), Brian, Patrick Murphy and Great-Nana to Ciara Downey.

Friend and sister-in-law to Alison, Olive, Daphne and predeceased by her brothers William and John, brothers-in-law Robert, William and Marcus and sister-in-laws Jean, Annie and Mary and nephew Frank.

Peggy is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was the matriarch of our family and lovingly referred to as the Queen.

Peggy was born and raised in Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1954, settling in Toronto where she married Tom.

Due to the current circumstances, a friends and family gathering will be held at a later date.
