Parker WilliamPARKER, William John Parker, QC,  -  83, passed away May 2, 2021, peacefully in the night, after a brief illness.

A celebration of life will be announced pending pandemic restrictions.

Born in Toronto, March 29, 1938, to William and Winifred Parker (nee Robinson).

Married to Lesley (nee Hemingway) November 23, 1963. He is survived by wife Lesley, children Katherine, Elizabeth and husband Chris, Jesse and wife Alysa, Christopher and wife Christine, and grandchildren William, Thomas, Reya, Wini, Ruby, Ava, Seth and Indie, sister Shirley, nephews Glenn and wife Teresa, Gary, niece Gail and husband John.

Bill lived most of his life in Toronto and area.

Bill had varied careers throughout his life: Toronto Harbour Police, Ontario Provincial Police Constable, High School English Teacher, Criminal Prosecutor, Defense Attorney and acted as general counsel into his 80s.

He did a lot of criminal court work and was well known and respected around the courts and with the judges.

Always quick with a story and a joke and known for throwing great parties.

Always willing to help with any job or task.

A lover of fun, mischief, music, poetry, movies and hard work.

Bill loved a good fight and was a fierce defender of his family, friends and clients.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
