Rossetti DelfinoROSSETTI, Delfino Emilio - It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Delfino Rossetti on May 20, 2021 at the age of 87.

He was the devoted and loving husband of Giuseppina for 63 years. He will be forever missed by his six children John (Anna), Dennis (Louise), Ron (Rose), Alfia (Rick Mazza), Joe, Romina.

He was the cherished "Nonno" to his eight grandchildren Matthew (Kristen), Sarah, Sabrina (Andrew), Cinzia, Joseph, Julianna, Aiden and Timo and great grandfather to Massimo and Emilia.

Delfino joins his brother and sisters in heaven. Held dear in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by many of his relatives and friends around the world.

When he made his way to Canada in 1951 at the age of 18 he dreamed of a better life for his family he so dearly dreamed of. In September 1958 he found the love of his life, marrying Giuseppina. He began his trade of tailoring at the age of 7 and she, a seamstress, joined him. Their dreams were bigger than their pocketbooks but that did not stop them from living and making their dreams come true. Always together with one common goal – to provide for their family. And they did just that. A life well lived!

A special thanks goes to the doctors and nurses at Mackenzie Health who so kindly took care of him, with the dignity and respect he deserved.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date so it will be safe for everyone to attend. The family is comfortable with this protocol and have no regrets whatsoever as we know this is how Delfino would have wanted it. We thank you for your warm and overwhelming outpouring of support.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Delfino’s memory can be made to the Mackenzie Health https://mhf.akaraisin.com/ui/Ultimate/donations/start

Arrangements for Tuesday's funeral and livestream service are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Woodbridge chapel.
