It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomai, in her 84th year.

She died peacefully in her sleep in Toronto, on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Jim, and her loving twin daughters Helen and Elizabeth (John).

Adoring and devoted Baba to her loving grandson Jonathan (Megan).

She is predeceased by her loving parents Nicholas and Olga Daskalou, sister Chrissoula (Peter) Melissa and her mother-in-law, Eleni Papaconstantinos, father-in-law, Stavros Papaconstantinos, and brother-in-law Stan Papas and wife Mary in Australia.

She is survived by her loving sisters Meni (the late George Marks), and Pauline Daskalou.

May was born in Kelli, Florina, Greece, the first born of four daughters. She later lived in Athens before coming to Canada in 1960 to wed Jim. Together they brought many beloved family members to Canada in the following years.

May lived a quiet but extraordinary life, filled with love, generosity and devotion to her husband, her daughters and large extended family.

There will be a private family viewing, and then interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity that uplifts others, gives hope, or supports heart health are welcome and appreciated.

We thank you enormously for your understanding and kindness.
