Eek MaeEEK, Mae (nee Kearns) - Peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family at home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Mae Eek (nee Kearns) of Bradford at 90 years of age.

Beloved wife of late Gerard “Gerry” Eek. Loving mother of Bill (Avia) Eek, Marlene (Allan) Stelnick and Brenda (late Jim) Jardine.

Loved grandma of Amanda (Matt), Jeremy (Emily); Sam (Cristiana), Steven; and Nicole. Cherished great grandma and great nana of Brooklyn, Addison and Niah.

Dear sister of Doris (late Gord) Hill, late Bert (late May) Kearns, late Ruth (late Carl) Codlin, late Bill (late Grace) Kearns, late Helen (late Jim) Willis, Mickey (Gladys) Kearns, Earl (Gail) Kearns and Joe (Debbie) Kearns. Dear sister-in-law of Marie (late Louie) Devald and late John (Jill) Eek.

Mae will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Special thanks to family and friends for all their support.

Private funeral service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford followed by interment at Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford. Livestreaming of the funeral service will be available to family and friends on Friday, May 28th via the funeral home website.

In Mae’s memory, donations may be made to Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket.
