Fodor DavidFODOR, John David - (Sunrise: February 7, 1963 - Sunset: May 25, 2021) - Passed unexpectedly, but peacefully at home.

David, lifelong partner of Sherry, survived by his Mother, Joan, sister Debbie and predeceased by his Stepfather, John.

David was an avid fisherman. He loved going up to the family cottage in Gowganda, but you would be hard pressed to find him there. He spent all of his time out on the lake fishing.

He spent 30 years working at Dempsters, then ran a fishing charter business out of Port Credit, Fish On Charter.

He was actively involved in the Port Credit Salmon and Trout Association (PCSTA). They are an organization that since 2010 has been helping to rebuild Lake Ontario’s historic salmon and trout population. Running the Pen Program, they raise up to 10,000 Chinook Salmon each year to be released into Lake Ontario from Port Credit.

Arrangements entrusted with Skinner and Middlebrook funeral home, Mississauga. Due to Covid there will not be a service.

In lieu of flowers, to honour Dave’s memory donations may be made to the PCSTA as a money transfer to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
