GAZSO, Gabor Anthony, P.Eng, - 1933 – 2021 It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Gabor Gazso.
He died peacefully at home on May 25, 2021.
Gabor was born and completed his education in Budapest, Hungary.
He immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he enjoyed a lengthy career as a professional engineer.
For many years he was an active member of the Hungarian Helicon Society and the Hungarian Canadian Engineers Association.
Gabor was an avid sportsman.
He had been a competitive swimmer in his youth and played tennis and skied into his seventies.
In 1976 he married Agnes and together they enjoyed 45 years of marriage. Gabor was a caring stepfather to Andrew.
He will be missed by his brother-in-law Michael (Perdita), his sister-in-law Maggie and his many friends.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
A celebration of life will be held when circumstances permit.
