Langen JackLANGEN, Jack Jacobus Johannes - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Brampton Civic Hospital on Thursday June 24, 202.

Jack Langen, at the age of 77, beloved husband of Helen.

Loving father of Joe (Cathy), Nancy (Guy), Mike (Mathilda), Craig (Jeannine). Predeceased by son Ron.

Cherished Papa of Gregory (Kelsey), Nicholas, Emily, Kurtis, Bernadette, Richard, Jeremy, Vanessa, Matthew, Jakob, Ayla, Sherri, Rebecca, Jeremy.

Great-Grand Papa of Elliott and Isla. Dear brother of Bill (Judy), Johanna (Jack), Gary, John.

Jack grew up in the Caledon area.  As a master electrician and successful entrepreneur Jack made an impression on everyone he met, his wife/best friend Helen by his side every step of the way.  Jack’s interest in history, tradition, and preserving the past was obvious at the beautiful family home he built. His greatest passion was restoring Ford Model A’s.

Comfortably humble in his Levis jeans, bush hat, and Ford belt buckle, he deeply touched the hearts of all his family and friends.  Family was the cornerstone of his being.

Affectionately known as “Papa Jack” he loved spending time with his fourteen grandchildren.  Jack was joyous of his recent new title as “Great Grand Papa Jack” to beautiful twins Elliott and Isla. Whenever Jack entered a room he was always affectionately greeted by the children.

Jack lived life following three moral principles; be a man of your word, be dependable, and always be honest.

Jack will be missed by many and forgotten by none.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, Bolton on Tuesday evening. Private funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home.  Private family interment.

In lieu of flowers donations in Jack’s memory can be made to McMaster Children’s Hospital .
