Zolis ChrisZOLIS, Christopher 'Chris' - It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected and sudden passing of Chris Zolis, on June 25, 2021 in his 72nd year.

Cherished husband of 49 years to Sally.

Loving Father of Stephen (Lindsay) and Laurie (Jeff) and devoted Dedo to Julia, Matthew, Laura and Jessica.

Beloved brother and brother in law to Olga (Takis Dimitrakopoulous) and Linda (The late Bill Andrew).

Predeceased by his Parents Apostolos and Anastasia and Grandparents Tego and Yanna.

Chris was a talented athlete and artist who passed on his passions to all of his children and grandchildren. He was generous, trusting and loyal. He was fiercely proud and knowledgeable of his Macedonian heritage. He loved music and movies and had an incredible ability to keep up with technology at any age. He was incredibly social, and could carry a conversation on almost any topic.

Nothing was more important to Chris than his family. His devotion to his children and grandchildren was remarkable, and they are his greatest legacy. His presence in all of our lives was immense, and his departure has left an immeasurable hole in our hearts.

Long car rides, impromptu family dinners, sports games and school events will never be the same again.

We take some solace in knowing that there was never anything left unsaid. We knew how much he loved us and he knew how much we loved him. We will miss his advice, his humour, his positivity, and his love.

Due to current regulations, a private family funeral will be held on Wednesday, with the hope to celebrate his life with a larger gathering at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke or a charity of your choice in his honour would be greatly appreciated.
