Henderson RobertHENDERSON, Robert Gary  -   Passed away with his family at his bedside on June 27, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with liver cancer. Robert (Bob) was born on May 22, 1963, in Edmonton, Alberta, raised on his parents' acreage with his three siblings (Anne, Janet, and Johnny).

At age 21, Bob moved to Toronto where after many years he met the love of his life, Theresa, and settled in Whitby, Ontario.

Bob is survived by his wife Theresa (Gottschalk), his three children, Ashley McLeod (Matt), Matthew Gottschalk, and Kyle Henderson and two sisters Anne Henderson and Janet Letourneau.

Bob leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Chole, Ellie, Bentley, and Stefan as well as 19 nieces and nephews.

Bob had a warm, loving personality who made many friends along his life's journey.

He cherished these friendships and was deeply loyal to them. His family was his highest priority and most cherished gift. He was a fiercely loyal Maple Leafs fan and a talented baseball player who loved the game of baseball whether he was on the field or behind the bench.

He particularly loved his "Panthers Baseball Team" family.

A hard-working man who never took day off and greeted everyone with a big smile on his face and an open hand. Bob was always quick to support anyone and without hesitation.

He was a dedicated father who showed unwavering love for his children. He was a devoted husband who also never missed a day telling his wife how much he loved her.

Bob's wish was to be cremated and brought to his Forever Home in Havelock, Ontario where he will remain with his loving wife Theresa until she is laid to rest.

It was Bob's request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cancer Society of Ontario in his memory, and that of his mother Margaret, and mother-in-law Gladys.

The family will be arranging a Celebration of Life later in the summer where family and friends will be invited to come and share their "Bob" stories and celebrate such an amazing man.

We will forever cherish our memories of you Bob and hold precious the time we had together.

Your legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of those left behind.

We love you sweet Bob, B-Bob, Dad.
