THOMPSON, John Spero - August 12, 1937 - June 28, 2021
Peacefully, after a life well-lived it is with sadness we announce the passing of the ever strong and loving John (Johnny) Thompson.
Johnny will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 61 years Donna.
A devoted father to daughters Jennifer (Graham) and Sharon (Bill) and delightful grandfather to Amy (Nick) Lauren (Chris) Eric, Kyle, and great-grandchildren Cody, Casey, Henley and Kennedy.
His last remaining sibling, his sister Denise will also miss him greatly.
John's two brothers Edward and Bruce both predeceased him.
John would like to be remembered, not with sadness but as a person who had many interesting memories, experiences and loyal friends along the way.
He would not want you to feel obligated to send flowers or make donations to charities but instead to have a nice dinner with a glass of wine or a beer shared with loved ones and remember him with fondness.
Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration Of Life will take place at a later date.
