Milne GordyMILNE, Gordon D. 'Gordy' - 1955 - 2021 -

It is with heavy hearts and enormous sadness we announce the passing of Gordy Milne on June 30, 2021.

Remembered with so much love by the love of his life, Maureen.

Married for 30 years.

Loved and adored by the Myers family, his extended family, cousins, friends, colleagues and neighbours from far and wide.

Born in Trois Rivières, raised in Montreal and Toronto. Predeceased by his parents, Madge and Ross, also his brothers, Sandy and David.

Gordy had a rich and varied career in the hospitality industry in Toronto. His past endeavours include The Fairmont Royal York, Pier 4 Storehouse and Restaurant, Harbour 60 and The Distillery District’s Boiler House.

He was a warm, caring, compassionate man with the gift of storytelling and a passion for music, playing guitar and he would randomly break out in song through out his day.

Gordy had the knack to engage with everyone in his presence. He brought people together.

Gordy was the best friend we could ever wish for. Many hearts will forever be filled with love for you, Gordy.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice can be made.
