He was born in Manoppello, a town in the province of Pescara, Italy. His family moved to nearby Lettomanoppello where he grew up and met his wife, Antonietta Francucci.

They married on Friday, October 30,1953 and had three daughters, Connie (spouse Bruno), Lisa (spouse Tony) in Italy, and Teresa (spouse Frank) after emigrating to Canada.

He has nine grandchildren (Mark, Robert, Mary, Christina, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, David, Jonathan and Angela) as well as eight great-grandchildren (John Josiah, Rory, Kaleb, Victoria, Alexandra, Matthew, Emily and Benjamin), and one on the way.

His surviving siblings are two brothers, Domenic (spouse Dea) and Mario (spouse Maria) as well as one sister, Santa.

Family and friends are invited to his Visitation on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home Markham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Shepherd Village Inc. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
