SLATER, Donna Aileen - (1944 - 2021) - After a long battle with health, Donna passed away at Mackenzie Health on August 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving Husband and Son.
Beloved wife of David for 52 years loving mother of Shawn for 45 years and proud grandmother of Dax, Chase, Teagan Slater.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Willene and Roy, sister Nancy, nephew Chad, and survived by her Brother Gary.
Donna grew up in East York and after graduating from East York Collegiate enrolled in Nursing school at East General Hospital.
After completing the 3 year living in residence she then graduated and spent six years working at the hospital. After moving to King City Donna worked at the doctor's office eventually leaving to become Team manager of Shawn’s hockey team.
Donna spent many years enjoying her horse and German Shepherds and touched so many people's lives. She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora. Cremation and private family graveside service to follow. No memorial events are currently scheduled.
