Olmedo TonyOLMEDO, Walter Antonio Acosta 'Tony' - It is with great sadness that the Acosta-Olmedo family announces the sudden passing of Tony (Walter Antonio) on August 4th, 2021 at the age of 23, surrounded by his family.

Tony was born in Toronto, on August 21st, 1997. He was the beloved son of Walter Acosta and Leticia Olmedo, a beloved brother to Alex (Natalie) and Rocio (Josh), and a loving partner to Alexandra Arenas.

He will be dearly missed by his Tia Gloria and cousins Jorge and Gloria, longtime childhood friends Josue and Joshua, and grandparents, uncles and cousins in El Salvador.

Tony was diagnosed with Leukaemia at the young age of 10. Throughout his life he overcame many obstacles relating to his health, but no matter the situation he always had a positive outlook to life.

He was a very happy and kind person with a big heart and was very family oriented. Tony especially enjoyed spending time with his brother and sister, often playing video games together on his PS4. One of Tony's main hobbies was keeping fish and tending to his aquarium. He was diligent at researching how best to care for them and maintain their fragile habitat. Recently, he became fascinated by Aquascaping.

Tony had a deep passion for photography, with the dream of travelling and capturing the world on film. He loved anime and sushi, sparking a fascination with Japanese culture, having wished to visit the country and experience it firsthand.

We love you, Tony and will keep you in our hearts.

Arrangements and livestream funeral service details are entrusted with Scott funeral home, West Toronto CHapel.

We ask that you keep Walter and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
