KACHKOWSKI, Nestor - 1939 - 2021 Nestor Kachkowski of Tiny, ON passed away suddenly on August 1, 2021, in his 81st year, at home with family and friends by his side.
Nestor was born in Ethelbert, MB and as a child and teenager he tended to his family farm in Garland, MB.
Later, as a carpenter, he settled with his wife and children in Mississauga, ON.
After building what would be his retirement home, he finally settled in Tiny.
Nestor's passions were being outdoors, camping, snowmobiling, gardening, cutting wood, "fixing" things, and, most of all, being around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nestor was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Mary (nee Kiniak), and his sister Adeline.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Caroline, his brother Eddy, his children Gary, Cindy, Holly and Allison and their respective partners, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a celebration to honour Nestor's life at a later date.
