GOLD, Edie - After a life well-lived, juggling her career as a professional musician and mother, at the age of 85, Edie passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on August 29, 2021.

Who would have known that at age 16 she would meet the 25 year old love of her life, football star sitting on a neighbour's porch?. Discovered by Frankie Laine she embarked on a hugely successful career as a musician, recording her own album for RCA Records and travelling the world.
A Family graveside service will be held, and stream on the Benjamin's website on Tuesday August 31st. Marshall will be available for outside home visits at 616 Avenue Rd on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm-4pm. Grant, Ian and Dawn will be available for outside home visits at 34 Strathearn Blvd on Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm-9pm. All visitors to please be FULLY VACCINATED.
