Elwahsh FibyELWAHSH, Fiby - Passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Anyone who knows Fiby, knows that she was an angel… the one with the brightest smile, the kindest heart, and the most joyful spirit.

The one who drank out of jars and laughed from the heart. Fiby had the warmest embrace, people often came up to her to receive hugs like no other.

Her face always shone with the most beautiful smile that filled others with encouragement and support.

Fiby loved the Lord faithfully and trusted Him with all her heart, always praying for His will to be done.

She served Jesus at Beit El Salam as a “Fila” for many years.

She was so devoted to the work that she would scrub the floors spotless with a toothbrush, so much so that when the first dishwasher was installed, they called it ‘Fiby’ in recognition of her hard work.

She had the most generous heart. Her house and her heart were always home for everyone. She was the kind of person who would give her own belongings to total strangers without a moment’s hesitation.

Fiby was a fighter all throughout her life. Her treatment never stopped her from being the committed, dependable wife and the attentive, caring, and loving mother who took care of every detail in her family’s life until the last minute.

Even during her illness, she would carry her own suffering without burdening anyone around her. Instead, she would smile and thank the Lord. She often said, “God says to me, ‘You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.’” And she truly was.

The disease never defeated her nor broken her spirit, instead it showed her strength, persistence, determination, and her brave mettle. Fiby has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith… as a friend, a mother, a wife, and a daughter. Our dearest Fiby, every one of us, your children, mother and father, siblings, husband, and all your friends, we are all very proud of you.

Your graceful smile, gentle eyes, and heavenly presence will be sorely missed.

The service will take place at Chapel Place Church, Markham on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 10:00am.

“For we know that if the earthly tent [our physical body] which is our house is torn down [through death], we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭AMP.
