BARBIERO, Marcella Rita (Micaletto) - We are saddened to announce the passing of Marcella on September 8, 2021 at the age of 64.
She was a loving wife to Pietro, devoted mother to Paola (Pietro), Silvia (Adriano), Francesca (Antonio), and forever loved by her grandchildren, Bianca, Gianpiero, Ilaria, Alessandro, Chiara, Lucas and Alessia.
Cherished daughter to the late Benedetto and Mariuccia (nee Perri) Micaletto, and daughter in-law of the late Francesco and Paolina Barbiero.
Loving sister to Luigino (Antonia), Teresa (Pino), Antonella (Salvatore), and loving sister in law to Fiorella (Frank).
Zia to many nieces and nephews, and loved by many cousins in Italy.
Marcella came to Canada in 1974 after marrying the love of her life. She raised a beautiful family to whom she was completely committed and devoted.
She enjoyed her time with family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored and whose eyes would light up at the sight of them.
She also cherished many wonderful friendships. Marcella enjoyed cooking for her family and friends; adding her secret ingredient of love into every dish. Throughout her life, she enjoyed travelling and explored many countries. Marcella’s love and perseverance touched the lives of so many people. She will be forever missed by her loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronto on Friday, September 10th, 2021. The service will take place at St. Norbert's Roman Catholic Church, 100 Regent Road, Toronto on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 11:30am.
