Jane was the elder of two children of John and Laura Medland.

She is survived and much loved by her son, Rob; daughter-in-law, Lisa; brother, Bob Medland; and sister-in-law, Sally Medland.

Jane cherished and was cherished by her granddaughter, Tory Emery.
