TYRELL, Neville Alicius - June 29, 1927 – September 30, 2021 - With a decline in health over the last 5 years due to dementia, his battle ended at Markham Stoufville Hospital where he passed peacefully on the morning of September 30, 2021.

Neville, born and raised in Jamaica, was one of three children born to the late George Tyrell and Clarissa Ferguson and was the beloved husband of Joyce Tyrell for over 51 years.

Neville will forever be remembered by his beloved children, Faith Tyrell-DeLeon, Evan Tyrell, step-children Rema Nelson and Eveline Reid, treasured grandchildren, Christeen Reid, Nadine Reid-Warren, Kirk Reid, Tiffany Nelson, Ezra DeLeon, and adoring great grandchildren Anysha Reid- Henry, Jaden Henry, Liam Warren, Tyrell Reid, Marquel Reid and Denzel Reid and loving nieces and nephew Norma Hodgson, Bibi Wright and John T. Hodgson along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.

Neville loved listening to classical music, writing poems, going for walks, attending church service and playing the piano for his church assembly. He enjoyed reminiscing of his time and life in Jamaica telling great stories to family and friends that always made us laugh. He enjoyed playing a good game of dominoes and new his stuff well! He loved his home and enjoyed being with his family.

Despite his quiet nature, Neville was a great conversationalist and always enjoyed speaking about life and his experiences.

Most of all he loved the Lord and through his gift of playing the piano, he shared with others the joy of music, praise, worship and seeking God which touched the lives and hearts of many!

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday October 8th 2021, at 11am at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham ON.

The family requests all donations be sent to Bridle Grove Bible Chapel 2575 Pharmacy Ave. Scarborough ON. M1W 2K2.
