Rush JamesRUSH, James - Passed away peacefully, on Saturday October 2, 2021 surrounded by Family and at home on his beloved Farm.

Born in Quebec to a family of six brothers and one sister, Jim set out on his own, moving to Toronto at the age of 15 yrs.

Jim was the epitome of a "self-made" man and lived throughout his Life & Death on his own terms.

Jim started his career in the printing trade, working at Noble-Scott in Toronto.

Jim proudly bought his farm in 1969 and built CreditView Stables from the remnants of a chicken hatchery. He put his all into building the stables, arena, raising a family and developing the Riding School that exists today.

He was a master Horseman, Trainer, Coach and leaves behind a Legacy of many Championship Horses and Riders.

Jim will be forever loved and missed by Lynda, by his sister Heather, by his children Jim, Patricia, Philip and predeceased by son Richard (Alexandra), by his grandchildren Jim, Spencer, Brian (Jennifer), Andrew, Eric, Bethany, by his great-granddaughter Angelina, by his life-long friend 'Captain' Dale Horley (Marilyn). Jim is 'Uncle' to many nieces and nephews, 'GrandPa Jim' to extended Family and 'Mr Rush' to so very many people, whose lives he touched.

The Family invite all friends and visitors for Visitation Thursday on Oct 14th at 5:pm-8:pm and to the Funeral Service Friday Oct 15th at 1:pm both at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, Brampton, ON. A PRIVATE Interment of Jim's ashes will be arranged for a future date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Jim's favourite Charity, The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army helped Jim's mother, brothers and sister, when Jim was just a young boy. He never forgot the unconditional kindness and support given to his family, in their time of need.
