GUTHRIE, John Frederick - 79, of London, passed away peacefully at home on October 2, 2021.
John was born in Etobicoke on July 1, 1942, and spent the majority of his life in Mississauga.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Setchell, his second wife, Doreen Guthrie, his third wife, Deborah Guthrie, and his sons, John Jr. Guthrie and John Andrew Guthrie.
ohn is survived by his brother, Ross Guthrie, children, Gordon Alexander Guthrie and Kimberley Michael (Louis); his grandchildren, (Andrew) Eva Akhok, Anthony Wright, Katie and Madison Guthrie, Michael and Brittany Doherty, Rebecca Rodgers; (Alexander) Kathleen Beharrell, Kyle Guthrie, Carol-Ann and Jocelyn Guthrie-Alride; and (Kimberley) Brianna Guthrie and Elizabeth Michael, as well as several great-grandchildren.
His family will miss him greatly.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, London. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. COVID-19 Restrictions apply. A private burial will follow for family only.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
